½ cup dark chocolate
¼ jar of Handsome Carver’s Chocolate and Coffee Peanut Spread
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp baking powder
Pre-heat oven to 320°F.
Place chocolate in a double boiler and heat until melted, then add the Chocolate and Coffee Peanut Spread and blend until hot and smooth. While stirring continuously, aAdd the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Gently fold the dry mixture into the chocolate mixture. The mixture will be a dough like.
Allow the dough to cool sufficiently for handling. Shape the dough into 3” balls; roll in powdered sugar and place the balls on a cookie sheet or shallow oven tray about 3” apart. Bake for 20 minutes.
